What type of law does Zamani Law deal with?

Do I need to appear in court?
After retaining Zamani Law as your legal counsel, you do not have to appear in court, apart from several apparent exceptions. We’ll appear on your behalf for most preliminary hearings after filing a Designation of Counsel document with the court. Some of the exceptions that require your presence in court include:
- During jury selection
- When a witness is providing oral evidence
- During trial
- When a guilty plea is entered
- During sentence rendering
- Anytime the court orders your physical presence
When your presence is required in court, we’ll notify you in advance and make any necessary preparations to ensure that you’re ready.
Can I resolve my case quickly?
I think I am being investigated for a crime; what can I do?
If I have been charged/arrested, what should I do? Are the police allowed to question me?
Are you available outside the hours of 9-5?
What do I do if the police want to talk to me about something illegal I was involved in?
Do you handle all kinds of criminal cases?
What should I do to prepare for my first meeting with my lawyer/you?
To ensure that the first meeting with your lawyer is as fruitful as possible, you should prepare thoroughly. Here is a list of some things you should do to prepare and bring to your first meeting:
- Have all the pertinent documents relevant to your case
- A list of all possible witnesses and include their contact information
- Write a full recollection of what happened and the circumstances leading up to that event
- Prepare any questions you want to ask Zamani Law pertaining to our experience, qualifications, successes, and reviews
- Prepare a short biography and include your employment, citizenship status, and any prior criminal charges
