The offence of Double Doctoring is found in s. 4 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Essentially it is the offence of going to 2 doctors to fill the same prescription. In addition, there are many cases where the accused will forge false prescriptions on prescription pad paper that has been stolen from a doctor’s office. This offence carries serious consequences including a possibility of jail. Addiction is often a contributing factor and can be used in some cases as mitigating on sentence. Taking steps to deal with addiction problems is looked upon favourably by the courts.

What Clients Say Farid
Very great team of lawyers. They are upfront and don’t play around. The previous lawyer I had didn’t get me any results, then Mr. Zamani and Mr. Daley finished the matter in a couple of weeks with a full withdrawal. Thank you very much
